Pinlet Privacy Policy

Pinlet is designed as a local-first macOS utility.
Data we collect
ThinkBySketch does not collect personal data, analytics, advertising identifiers, usage telemetry, or the text you place in Pinlets in version 1.0.
Data stored on your Mac
Pinlet stores content and preferences locally on your Mac so your widgets can be restored across launches. This includes items such as widget text, position, size, appearance, timer and stopwatch state, countdown targets, visibility, and notification preferences.
This locally stored information is not transmitted to ThinkBySketch.
Notifications
If you enable a completion notification for a Timer or Date Countdown, Pinlet uses Apple’s local notification system. Notification permission is requested by macOS. ThinkBySketch does not operate a notification server for these alerts.
Launch at Login
If you enable Launch at Login, Pinlet uses Apple’s ServiceManagement APIs to register the app with macOS. ThinkBySketch does not receive login or device information from this feature.
Purchases
If a future version offers a purchase through the Mac App Store, payment processing is handled by Apple. ThinkBySketch does not receive your payment-card details. This policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated if Pinlet begins collecting additional purchase or account data.
Accounts, analytics, and advertising
Version 1.0 has no user account, no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no third-party tracking SDK.
Changes to this policy
If Pinlet’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before or alongside the relevant release.
